The production process of PVC ball valve has the following steps.
A. Make a one-piece valve core that fixedly connect the valve stem and the valve ball;
B. Put the valve ball of the integral valve core and the valve stem part connected with the valve ball into the mold for making the plastic ball valve body;
C. Heat and melt the plastic material; the plastic ball valve body is formed after cooling in the mold.
Each side of the plastic ball valve body has an opening to where the ball is located. The top of the valve body has a stem extension outlet.
After the plastic ball valve body is cooled and formed, the connecting part of the ball and valve stem of the one-piece valve core is completely confined in the plastic ball valve body. The stem end of the one-piece valve core extends outward from the stem outlet at the top of the plastic ball valve body, while the ball of the one-piece valve core is in contact with or has a gap in the body cavity of the plastic ball valve body. One of the openings on both sides is connected to a plastic valve cover with a through hole, and the through hole of the plastic valve cover is connected to the flow passage in the plastic valve body.

 In step a, the one-piece valve core can be made of various materials. For example, when the strength of the one-piece valve core is required to reach a higher standard, the one-piece valve core can be made of metal materials; when the one-piece valve core is required to be lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and simple to process, the one-piece valve core can be made of plastic materials. When the one-piece valve core has high strength and corrosion resistance, the one-piece valve core can be made of plastic material; when the one-piece valve core requires corrosion resistance, the one-piece valve core can be made of plastic material. The body spool can also be made of composite material. The composite material here refers to a material composed of at least two or more materials, such as a composite material made of plastic wrapped with metal, or a composite material made of layered wrapping of different plastic materials. At the same time, the valve stem and valve ball can also be made of other materials, such as ceramics. Of course, the valve stem and valve ball can also be made of two different materials. For example, a metal-plastic composite valve core can be made from a metal skeleton and a plastic coating that coats the metal skeleton.

In step b, in order to set the sealing structure between the valve stem and the valve body in the subsequent processing of the ball valve, the filling box inserts on the one-piece valve core and valve stem can also be put into the mold to make a plastic ball valve body to obtain Filler box insert and fill box placement for molded plastic ball valve bodies.
In step c, by performing injection molding on an injection molding machine (of course other thermoplastic molding methods are not excluded), the process of heating, melting and cooling the plastic material in the mold to form the plastic ball valve body can be conveniently completed. Because injection molding can improve the speed and precision of production and ensure the qualified rate of products, it is suitable for large-scale industrial production.
In addition, in step c, it is recommended to use polyethylene material to make the plastic ball valve body, but the material for making the plastic valve body is not limited to polyethylene material. For example, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, ABS and other plastic materials can be used to manufacture plastic ball valve bodies. At the same time, the plastic ball valve body can also be a plastic ball valve body with a frame composed of metal or other materials.
