There are two types of PVC bottom valves, one with spring and the other without spring. The size of the model with spring is 3/4inch-2inch, and the model with 2inch or more is the model without spring.

The function of this bottom valve is to ensure the one-way flow of water in the suction pipe, so that the pump can work normally and the liquid will not return to the tank when the pump stops working for a short time, and to ensure that the suction pipe is full of liquid for the pump to start.
